Join your favourite asinine astronauts as they descend upon the Post Office Hotel front bar for a night of sweaty dancefloors and sticky carpets, performing a full cover set of indie bangers from the noughties and beyond!

Ambitious as usual, they’ll be backing it up with a set of originals, blending their aging indie-punk rocker attitudes with spacey psychedelic riffs, rich vocal harmonies, and self-deprecating yet sincere lyrical expositions.

Useless Spaceman have been bringing their bizarre and raucous live set to Melbourne’s bars and house party scene since 2017, gracing audiences with science-fiction odes to interstellar agribusiness, anti-corporate love songs, and ditties of deadly alligators, deadlier nanobots, and space cowboys of the distant future. Their releases have spanned a wide range of sounds, from the indie-punk of 2018’s self-titled EP, through the psychedelia, folk and grunge of 2022 LP The Marlboro Man Rides Again, and to further forays into the unknown soon to come.
