The Robbies are an independent alternative folk-rock trio dreaming their way into the Melbourne/Naarm music scene with ethereal vocals, glassy guitar tones and punchy drums. The trio are known for hypnotising soundscapes that transport listeners into a carefully crafted, dreamlike world of sound.

Despite only recently releasing recorded music, the band have already made a mark with their commanding debut single, ‘Pace of Thought’, premiering at a nearly sold-out single launch show. The band are currently sitting back to write so they can enter 2027 with new tunes.

Djilang-born Folk/Alt-Country artist Thom Johnston takes the influence from Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Don McLean, and puts it in the setting of fading Australian pub wallpaper.

Whilst having an eye for contemporary style but roots in the classics, Thom’s songs are a voice for young people figuring themselves out, with a skill for making the ordinary worth documenting.

All involved acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we get to share our stories and music on, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
