Jess Ribero // Baby Blue

This event is being held on land stolen from the Wurrundjeri and Boon Wurrung People of the Kulin Nation. We recognise that they are the traditional and ongoing owners of the land from which we operate. We would like to further acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded and pay respects to their elders present, past, and future.

9PM - Thursday 26th of Sept - FREE

Jess Ribeiro will be gracing the Post Office Hotel front bar for the extremely special free show on the 26th of Sept! Support on the evening will come from the sensational BABY BLUE - such a phenomenal double bill - not to be missed!!

Having been compared to the likes of Karen Dalton and Cat Power. Ribeiro's second, and most recent album Kill it Yourself produced by acclaimed musician/producer Mick Harvey, dives headlong into hazy rock, landscape ambience and melodious 60’s psych. Ribeiro’s songs are cinematic in scope: it’s music that travels, across deserts like a Western, through city streets like Film Noir. Narrative and poetic, Ribeiro’s lyrics are rhythmic and evocative, conjuring images that are dimly-lit, but nonetheless electric.

Fresh from an extensive national tour and critical appraisal of her latest record - Jess and her band will be performing and celebrating our latest public holiday.
