Sleep Decade play The Post Office Hotel on Thursday 24th of August. Previewing songs from their long-awaited forthcoming LP 'Collapse', the band promises a night of atmospheric, introspective sounds; striking a balance between minimalist slowcore compositions, and densely textured freeform improvisations. With bassist Thom Plant now residing in Hobart, this will be their final Melbourne show until later in the year when the new album is released. Joining them will be local duo Phoebe & Schina, who will open the evening with some good old fashioned folk, country and blues. With their close harmonies, finger-picking guitar and warm piano accordion tones they create personal and frank folk songs.
