Synth lovers UNITE. On July 28, The Post Office Hotel will play host to Emah Fox and Dear Plastic – two of the most unique electronic pop acts in Melbourne.

Dear Plastic set their music in a dream land of avant pop and trip hop, they’re lead in full force by Scarlette Baccini’s expressive vocal delivery. Creating lush soundscapes that are warm and textured, the group uses home-built analogue synthesisers and glitch beats to draw you in.

Emah Fox’s dark brand of synth pop pits urgent beats and ominous synths against a sweet polyrhythmic melody. Her intricate production satellites around lucid vocals that consistently switch from restrained to soaring. Emah's live set is perfectly complemented by the dynamic kit drumming from creative powerhouse Nat Grant, and the extra synth wizardry of Ania Reynolds.
