Here all the way from Oakland, California, on an east coast tour (including a stunning performance at TRANSGENRE 2017), AH MER AH SU is a self-described multi-instrumentalist, singer, dancer, and actor. Her beautifully crafted indie poptronica, with loops built live on stage, will break your heart and rebuild it multiple times in a set.
Supporting her are truth-n-dare, a couple of up-n-comers (though respectively established as musicians Geryon and June of Two Steps on the Water). Their music is posi-vibes dance pop at its core, with a little lesbianism, sarcasm, and frustration peppered throughout.
