The Hornets feature some of the country’s well known and respected blues and roots musicians. They have released six CDs , to rave reviews and have gained a regular following of devoted fans as a result of many  live performances. Consequently, The Age named The Hornets “The best blues band in Melbourne”, and the Herald Sun said the band “demanded attention”.

Singer song-writer Craig Horne together with ARIA Hall of Fame guitarist Jeff Burstin from Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons, are joined by drummer Chris Tabone, the Bamboos bass player Yuri Pavlinov and Paul Kelly/Archie Roach keyboardist Bruce Haymes to play a memorial gig for our late and much loved bass player, the legendary Wayne Duncan. Wayne died December 4 last year so we are playing one of his favourite gigs...The POST OFFICE HOTEL in Coburg December 17 @ 4.30pm. It's a chance for family and friends and admirers to come together, have a chat, a cheeky white wine and remember Wayne...
