Gretta Ray Launch's her debut album - Playing 2 sets from 4:30. FREE

Gretta Ray is one to watch in 2016, as she independently releases her debut EP ‘Elsewhere’, launching it at the Post Office Hotel on 21 February.

The emerging Australian musician wrote the 4-track EP when she was just 15 years old. Now 17, the wise-beyond-her-years musician collaborated with producer Joshua Barber on the debut, recorded at The Aviary Recording Studios in Melbourne. 

Immersed in music from early childhood, Gretta grew up in the company of successful Melbourne musicians Rebecca Barnard, Shane O’Mara, Lisa Miller and Dave Hosking. This had a significant influence on Gretta’s passion for songwriting, her ear for harmony and a fascination with form and melody.

Gretta Ray’s intriguing way of combining lyrical complexities that express personal feelings of love and heartache, with tongue-in-cheek facetious anecdotes, is only part of what makes this young talent so unique.

Gretta Ray’s music is ageless.
