The Post Office Hotel would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nations as the traditional owners of this country. They are still the custodians of the cultural heritage of this land and the site where this gig will be held. We pay our respects to the local people for allowing us to have our gathering on their land and to their Elders: past, present and future.

Various Asses is deep body horror music; a new exploration of complex rhythmic foundations, conversant vocal clips and ambient undertones from Melbourne’s withdrawn left field RnB diva Fatti Frances. Embracing her love of electronic, grime and future music, V/A creates drowsy experimental dance music for the inquisitive.
Although V/A has a vague familiarity of hip hop and Rnb, it is slow moving and woozy, yet punctuated with short concise tracks that implode once deciphering the beat.

Joning her on the night will be Therimen master Miles Brown with his spooky astral unjulations. Brown has explored the theremin as a lead instrument in an electronic rock scenario, releasing four albums (The Night Terrors (2001), Lightless (2002), Back To Zero (2009) and Spiral Vortex (2014)) and touring through Europe and Australia. Make sure you catch him before he plays Paradise music festival later in the month.
