Hyde // WA?TE

Hyde (formerly known as Electric Sea Spider) combines humid drones, harsh percussion and NBA slam dunks through dense found sound arrangements. He started making music as a joke at 12 years old, was name-dropped on Channel 7's “My Kitchen Rules” and once got booed while supporting Flume. In 2015, he released a debut EP “Sacrificed Greyhound” on underground-championing label This Thing.

WA?STE (Felix Idle) embodies a doe-eyed optimism towards the endless internet of content. His music incorporates influence from Ghost in the Shell composer Kenji Kawaii, re-purposed trance melodies, hard dance drums, movie sfx & spoken word disintegrated inside the DAW. Felix's previous work includes production work for Kimchi Princi, Toyotomi Hideyoshi & Shojo Club and a collaboration with NON artist Mya Gomez. He also runs a label and irregular underground music night called Valley Spirit.
